Rukka Clothing

Range topping jackets, trousers & apparel from Rukka

Rukka motorcycle clothing is renowned throughout the world for being the most technically advanced range on the market, designed to meet the strictest standards for both safety, and rider comfort. Founded in 1950, Rukka have been producing bike clothing since the late 80's with the entire Rukka motorbike range designed in house, as it has been since day one, at their base in Finland. The entire range is today manufactured according to their own Defence and Comfort performance standards, meeting even the strictest criteria set for weatherproofing and riding comfort.
Most Rukka motorcycle jackets and trousers carry the patented Rukka Air protectors, the only patented breathable shoulder, elbow, knee, shin and hip protectors on the market, functioning equally in all weather conditions. This elastic mesh divides the possible impact into a wide area and acts as a shock absorber. When it comes to reflective materials, Rukka clothing is once again at the forefront of technology. Under normal daylight conditions, Rukka's reflective material appears normal but if directly lit by vehicle headlights in the dark, it reflects the light glaring white. The list of technical elements is almost endless with the use of top brand materials such as Gore-Tex, Armacor, Cordura, SuperFabric and D30 to name only a few.
Regardless of climate, hot or cold, rainy or sunny - Rukka clothing is designed to perform, ensuring both rider comfort and safety. Furthermore, all Rukka outerwear is covered by a 5 year warranty (2 years on gloves).

The Ultimate Jacket
Rukka Explore-R Textile Jacket - Grey / Yellow Rukka Explore-R Textile Jacket - Grey / Yellow

Perfect sizing, no inner-warm lining, but leaves 'just' enough space for my Keis heated jacket.

Very stiff, but with reassuring security from the armour and strong construction. I'm sure from previous experience with the brand, that the comfort will improve over time.

Styling is very cool (for an adventure jacket) and very visible in this colour without having to put on a separate hi-vis.

Waterproofing is excellent. Caught in biblical rain on the motorway and bone-dry.

Thoroughly recommended, you get what you pay for and long warranty make up for the initial outlay.

Great jacket ,true to size ( XL ) bought to go under a Dane jacket , well made jacket that packs down into its own bag, haven't had any really cold weather yet but is substantially warmer than the inner supplied by Dane.

Purchased these to go with the Comfo-R trousers. Excellent quality and do the job they are designed for. They attach to the trousers by Velcro, seems like a strange concept but works really well. Would definitely recommend these if getting the trousers.

Great jacket , very warm
Works well under my outer shell on chilly days on the bike and as a stand alone
coat on its own.

Rukka Mark Thermal Set Rukka Mark Thermal Set

I wear jeans when riding and can feel the wind when spring/autumn riding.
I thought I would try these Rukka thermals, being relatively inexpensive.
I am pleased to say they do make a big difference. I can still feel the wind, but riding in 10 degrees is a lot more comfortable.
I also found them to be a good fit and comfortable to wear.
