Weiss Waterford trousers

To me Weise seems to have gone downhill slightly on these.
The very first pair I bought quite some time ago were the best waterproof trousers I had ever had, these ones however do let a lot of water in, in the seams. They are warm and cosy on cold days and you could get away with just wearing these.
I would love to know if Weise have chosen a cheaper alternative to what they produced previously.

I have gone through several pairs of these because i have thus far been unable to find a set of gortex trousers that fit.
The weise thernal trousers are great, but will eventually leak after about 6-10 months of daily use. The only thing I have had to buy is elasticated velcro straps to seal the cuffs. These can be found dirt cheap on amazon.

Warmer than the thin ones

Great over trousers. Kept me warmer than the normal thin pants and dry on my short commute to work. The thermal lining not to thick. Able to fit in my bag when not needed to wear them. Normally X-LARGE but went down a size. L is a Perfect fit for me. 38 to 40 waist.

Great value for money, this is the second one I ordered from sportsbikeshop, you get exactly what it says in the photo, would agree with other reviews regarding size otherwise. Great quality and a great all weather product, you're never caught out no matter what the weather, it's a must have product for all bikers.

Great lined over trousers

Very happy with the quality of these lined over trousers, they were juat what my husband was looking for to keep him warm and dry.
As other reviews, the sizing is on the large side, even with trousers underneath, and a length option would be good as they were a little long.
Overall though, very happy.

Good quality construction, and I'm sure they would keep the elements out. However these are huge! I sized down - I'm a 33" waist and ordered the medium, but they were still too big, particularly from the knee down. They more resembled baggy snowboarding salopettes and I wanted something slimmer that wouldn't blow around in the wind too much when riding. Returned.

Dry from the wet

The quality is great for the price, feels strong and comfortable. The side zips make taking off a breeze and help with drying the wet bottoms out.

Warm & Dry

Caught out just recently with the bad weather. This did what it said on the box..
Had to get a larger size to fit over my pants, The length is a bit long as I'm a medium short leg and I had to buy a Large. Its not about looks in poor weather its staying warm & dry
I'm sure it'll get plenty of use over the coming months...

Well made and warm although the leg zip tends to snag in the material as has been mentioned. Very generous size, I'm a 34" waist and 30" leg and bought a small which fits fine except the leg is slightly too long.

They are warm even in 0°C and keep you dry in heavy rain.
I'm 5'11 and a 32 waist. I got M and they fit well.
The SBS service was excellent throughout - really helpful and prompt.

Very warm but massive

These are very good quality and surprisingly warm, even sweaty hot when it's not too cold out but I just can't understand why they are so huge. I ordered the small as I'm a 30" waist and it that regard they fit very well but the width of the leg is tent like, I make the Michelin man look skinny wearing these.

Warm in sub zero, sizing a bit of an issue

34 - 36 waist and 31 leg so I opted for the large as advised on the size guide....they were far too big - baggy and long over my bike jeans. (maybe OK over textile padded motorbike trousers,?). Sent back for med...still too big. Sent back for small....perfect (and I haven't purchased small trousers in years, bonus!!).....service from Sportsbikeshop was second to none, faultless. Good fit, lightweight, kept me warm 30mins commute in sub zero temperatures, and good price. Kept me dry in showers, not yet used in heavy rain but I have no doubt they will be fit for purpose.
Would have given a 5/5 if it weren't for the zips snagging on the material when first used, care must be taken when using them.

What is the inside leg measurement for the 2XL trousers, and how do the trouser legs terminate at the bottom?
November 19, 2018The inside leg is approx 34", and the bottoms are like normal trousers. The trousers at the bottom have a 13" zip to make getting them on a little easier.
What waist and leg length, in reality, are the 5XL trousers, please?
