iXS Boots

I have had IXS gear in the distant past and it's been good, but I hadn't seen them for a while. Worth a punt at their economy price I thought. These are a well made pair of boots for sure, good leather, well made and waterproof despite their short tops. My only grumble is the buckles take time to master due to the short overlap. make the flap a touch longer and these would of been a 5 star...Id still buy again for sure.

There's no boots like ya old boots, but they just had to be replaced, and aren't around anymore
(Firstly I have to say I have particular feet, wide with a tall instep) So it's never easy getting footwear, these fit well enough.
I like these for the rigid quality and the buckles, not completely relying on hook/loop
They're good on the bike, gear and brake, although the texture on the gear pad is smoothed out after a few rides
They're light and feel sturdy
For me there is not quite enough wrap over when doing them up, so I think the wet will find it's way in
(buckles are good)
Some of the inner stitching is lumpy and rubs a bit when walking, I expect this will soften with use
Overall I'm happy with the good value, they're not perfect but I'm sure they will wear in fine

I can't vouch for how long they'll last as only had them for 2 weeks.
First impressions.. very cool and hip looking, quality made and seem very robust but also looks like very good protection built in to the key parts.
Look fab off the bike as they do on.
Also, Reece couldn't have been more helpful if he tried.
Top marks for service.

Great boot, very fitted and snug as well as having protection but it is pricey
