Oxford Lifetime T30R Tailpack - Black

Very good as Sadle bag, the straps have to be customized for my bike, beside that perfect.
Found it unconfortable riding, using it on my back.

I would echo the thoughts of Max E's review 2nd May 2018, additionally I wold say the bag looks smaller than it is in reality possibly, it is actually quite massive, I bought the pack as a day out solution, for which it it is simply too large, ended up swapping this out for a 2 litre solution and would in hindsight probably picked the 4R model instead. This pack combing with the side panniers in the same product line would be more than enough space for a weekend away. Feels fairly nicely made,but like Max points out blighted by some poor choices in design.

At the size this bag is I wouldn't really classify it as a tail bag tbh ,kinda a step between a tail and a full box.

Its an excellent value for money product. I got it around 60 gbp, and for that money, it offers amazing functionality. Firstly, i use it with GSXS125, so if anyone is looking for a bag, they can take a look at this one. Secondly, the material its made of seems to be durable, i havent used it for long yet, but i believe it will be fine. It has enough pockets and big enough for my usage. One thing which i didnt like much is the zipper for attaching to base. This tailpack may be used as backpack also but, there is a zipper which is used to attach to base. In order to detach, you need to unzip and remove as backpack. But attaching is a bit struggling since zipper is located at a tough place. But overall, its an amazing bag for me.

Whenever I spend money, I wonder if I've spent it right. there was no doubt about this bag, the multitude of functions, the compartments are surprising.

This is my first ever tail pack. Fitting to the seat (Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 2001) was easy, however the other straps (with Double D) that feed through the plastic buckles, were not easy to secure. It is good that you can expand the bag, and its good that it has several side pockets. The top cargo straps are useful for holding gloves when you are off the bike. The waterproof liner is good, but slightly fiddly to place in the bag. I managed to pack for a 3 days weekend tour, but that was a summer packing. I don't think it would have enough space for a winter packing. The major let down for me is the way the bag attaches to the base, which is a zip that goes all around the base along with two Velcro straps. when the bag is filled and has weight it becomes difficult to align the tip of the zip with the other end, especially since the begging of the zip is placed underneath the securing Velcro strap and another piece of guide label. I had about 5 Kgs of things in the bag and during the ride I noticed the bag was sliding towards my back. To be sure I had to use another securing strap to go around the top of the bag which I had it run under the seat as well. There is a small pocket which says sunglasses, but I find it too small to fit sunglasses in it. The shoulder straps are good to have but they cause issues when trying to zip the bag to its base, it would have been better if there was a cover to secure them. Also it would have been handy if the nag had a water bottle net on the outside.

Ideal for putting essentials in without being too bulky. Well made. had no problem with zips so far.

On the second time of using the zip which ties the upper bag to the section secured to the bike burst with nothing but some t-shirts in it. Only for another rider seeing it it could have got tangled in the back wheel.

The pack looks and feels great but doesn't feel like anyone's actually tested it in real life - if you secure the base plate to your rear seat and then try and zip the bag onto it (like I did once at 5am with fingers numb from the cold) it's virtually impossible. There are several completely useless labels sewn into the exact spots that obstruct the zippers and a bungee loop right where you need to push the zipper along. I can't be the only person having experienced this. Even with the bag empty it's tough to get the cheap feeling zip into the 'socket' to start zipping up.

Bought tail pack for weekend away, fixed to bike with ease. Took more than enough clothing. Extending section makes loads more room but still sturdy on bike when full. Just so happened to be raining when I used it. Comes with fully waterproof bag. Everything got there dry as a bone. Really pleased I bought version that zips off, very good quality and top service from Sportsbikeshop on next day delivery. DeFfo worth the price tag

Successfully fitted the tailbag to my MV Agusta F3. Fits firmly and tidily and is stable on the road. Even looks good. Very happy with the product so far as it provides a good balance between functionality (normal and expanded capacity), fit and stability on the bike. Build quality is good - can't comment on its water-proofness (though looks capable and has a rain sack) Only gripe is that the zip attaching bag to the mount pad is tricky to line up and wiggle over some of the tags- not quite as easy as a simple on/off action.

Fits on the bike as described and looks good. Unintentionally tested water proof claims and it was perfect. A real good bag that was bought for a specific trip but is now used everyday.

Really pleased with this item. Loads of room for a weekend adventure. Zips on and off easily, turning the bag into a rucksack without having to undo the straps. Great waterproof bag cover that comes with it and 4 external pockets with heavy duty waterproof zippers. It looks great on the bike. Very sturdy on the road for soft shell bag. When extended, it has internal walls to add to the sturdiness. I would recommend this bag in a heart beat extremely pleased. Takes about 2 minutes to fix to the bike.
