These gloves are exceptionally warm, they're a little thick in the lining to be honest for me, touch pad fingers don't work that great and you lose sensitivity of where your touching, but a great riding glove.
Comfortable, good looking, not too bulky. Good quality and quite warm even without heating on.
I've been using the gloves with cables attached directly to my bike's battery. Good arrangement for long trips, as it goes forever. But cables flying around make it messy for frequent trips. Batteries are the best solution.
Heating works like a miracle, no more cold fingers. Ever. And much more efficient than heated grips. They do not eat up much electricity, and even my little Honda CB125F provides more than enough power from the battery. You can ride forever, no worries here.
The fit is good. Although fingers are longer than they should be. I changed size from M to S and it helped a lot in my case.
These are good gloves but quite bulky even without the battery, you don't get much feedback on the controls. My normal Richa winter gloves are much better in this regard and warmer in just the rain if you don't want the heating on so i wouldn't use them as normal winter gloves.
I found the actual operation a but strange as it seems to rely on you using the app on your phone, there are no instructions to speak of, you will need to google them. The power has 4 stages, but no indication staright out the box what it is or how to change it excpet my putting your hand in and keep pressing the buttons. You need to download the app so that you can see what colour power setting relates to which colour. Once that is sorted they work well. Just at home and not riding they get VERY warm indeed, but once riding you don't feel it as much, just enough to take away the chill. i was worried that they would just be too hot and sweaty, but they seem perfectly judged. I have used during this sudden cold snap with Storm Larisa. In the afternoon commute home just low setting is needed to take off the chill, but 6.30am ride in in freezing temparatures needed full power. The batteries are really bulky and sit in a small pocket zipped up inside the outer layer of the glove. But this seems almost open to the elements if worn over the top of your jacket, and a bit bulky for my jacket to fit neatly over the top, which kind of defeats the idea of a laminated glove to me as the inner waterproof layer is inside, but the battery compartment outside and able to get wet.
Also, I followed some other advice on here and ordered a size smaller than usual. I am glad I did as the fingers seem REALLY long. I am normally a large so ordered the medium. It is definitely on the snug size, no need to use the velcro fastener, but the thumb in particular is still too long and does interfere slightly with the inidicators on my bike.
Overall, I am glad I bought them, despite the cost, but don't think I will replace with the same when the time comes to change them, I will try another brand.
Very comfortable and decent heating capabilities off of 7.4v battery packs. Would recommend getting the 12v pack and the Y cable to power both gloves at once and stop you having lithium batteries in your sleeves!
I use these gloves on my RE Himalayan with hand guards and find them brilliant on middle settings at around 5 degrees. I also use them on my ebike, also brilliant. Would recommend them, just remember the batteries and charger are extra.
