Great Value Boot

I bought a size 42 for my size 8 feet and they are just right. I did find that once the laces are tightened up properly, I couldn't get my feet in and out just using the side zip but this might change over time as the boots break in.
The boots are sturdy with protection around the ankles, but are comfortable to walk in and look good both on and off the bike .
I looked at several different makes of similar styles, but most were twice the price. DXR provides great value for quality products and I will definitely for more.

Needed some boots that I don't have to swap when I get to work and these hit the nail on the head. Size is perfect, took a few days to wear in as they were quite stiff but more than happy with them .. oh and they kept my feely dry in a a mental downpour .. spare black laces too.

Seem to be very well made but only time will tell on their durabilty. Stiff construction but became more comfortable during the first wear.
The side zip is a great addition, I do find I need to loosen the laces as well to ease getting them on, ok to just undo zip to remove.
Personally, I think they are a very stylish boot and could easily be worn casually without looking like biker boots are being worn.
The waterproof aspect is another great additional feature, albeit I can't comment on how effective that is because it hasn't rain yet whilst wearing these.
Overall, very pleased with this purchase and would happily recommend them. I've only marked down a star because the right boot is a bit squeaky when walking but hopefully that will subside as they wear in.

These boots fit great from new and took about an hour to break in. Work well on and off the bike.
The side zip makes putting them on easy.

Not sbs fault I know.
Boots looked great, fitted as true size but on one boot zip had a defect, so no issues, sbs said send them back, and I got another pair of boots but went richa as I needed boots quickly

Boots are comfortable from new for me & don't need to be broken in. Watch out for sizing though as a 42 is sized 7.5 so too small for me, so went next up to 43 which is 8.5 and are fine now.

Glad to have a good fitting comfortable boot with a side zip at last. And most important for me was the grip of the sole, because I slipped once, what made me drop my bike, and these seem much better.

Excellent fitting boots. I wear a size 9, bought a size 9 and fits spot on. Sturdy, strong boot with a great quality and comfort fit to them. Probably the best I've had. Recommended.

The boots arrived promptly as usual and I made sure I tried them in the house just in case I needed to return them. Returns are a snap with Sportsbikeshop. They were a little stiff initially but after a few hours softened up.
Been using them ever since and they are improving constantly. The leather is superb, in the box you get spare laces too. They are waterproof but thankfully not tested as a fair weather rider.
The DXRs are perfect for the bike, a BMW R nine T and would suit any retro bike. They are super comfy now and can be left on during the day in the office as they look great too.
Highly recommended boots.

Well deserves the constantly good reviews. Boots are comfortable and only required a little "breaking in". Used all day at a M/C event recently hence my 5 stars. Boot size for me accurate. size 43.
