This is up to the usual Givi high standard, it is a good size for travelling,
I'm not sure about the bungee straps to secure it to your bike for safety I will use additional ROC straps.
it is a good sturdy holdall, I have not had the unfortunate opportunity to test if it is waterproof but looking at it with my experience of similar bags I have no doubt it will be.
Good value for a large sturdy waterproof travel bag.

Sturdy and Functional Saddle Pack

Bought as an emergency replacement when my previous bag was damaged while on tour. This bag feels both roomier and more durable than my previous bag (also a Givi 40L). It also came much more robust bungees than the older model, which was reassuring as the older bungees were partly responsible for the demise of the older bag. New bag and bungee's performed admirably on the return journey.

Another quality item from givi . Large enough for items for 9 day picos trip , saved me taking panniers . Slight issue with carry handle which was sorted by sbs with no fuss .

Nice sturdy bag

Holds plenty, is waterproof and has all the fastenings to keep it closed and strap it down to the bike. I use it on my pillion seat and the bungee straps hold it nicely to my Givi rails for my top box.
Looks good and is well made, I don't expect I will ever need a replacement.

After one use the Velcro on the handles has split and was disappointed to see it came with two bungees rather than fabric straps with clips for securing to the bike. Quality is fine and it's a nice size for a few days away.

Simple but robust design and decent quality from Givi as always for the price. Holds a lot of stuff and I can attest it is 100% waterproof as live in Scotland where it rains practically every day. Was looking at the kriega 40, but they are a faff to put on / take off and this is much simpler design and looks more like normal duffel bag. Got my 2 man tent, mat, pillow, sleeping bag, cook kit, change of clothes, food and a few tinnies and still room to spare. Overall the simplicity and excellent strength to weight ratio makes this ideal if you don't want / need top box and panniers etc. Would recommend

I've used this almost every day since it arrived to hold my rucksack on the bike. Its easy to attack the very strong bungees, you can attach the bag in less than 30 seconds once you're used to how you want it. In serious pouring rain it remained bone dry inside and dried on the outside within minutes once at the office. 40L is a great size, holds my gym bag and a rucksack and doesn't look too big on the back of my Tiger 800.
