Good Value for money, Very quick delivery. Takes a while to get used to the flip up style. The sun visor seems to sit quite high and you need to tilt the helmet forward for it to be effective. Well made helmet and looks cool. You can't really ride it open above 30mph as the wind catches it like a sail. Great for when you go into a shop or garage with the flip front.

Good looking and functions well.
Not to heavy, did 4 long days in it without any aches or pressure points, only complaint was wind noise far greater than would have expected from a quality helmet.
Still some new earplugs have helped greatly.

Bought the same size as my previous GIVI helmet and it fits snuggly.
Very comfortable.
The flip down visor is great, however the operation of it is via a slider on the top of the helmet which makes it a little more fiddly and awkward compared to other systems I've used.
The flip front is great but, it's not as easy to operate as others ive had.
Not always easy to lock shut in place and can be a bit hard to open. The button on the front takes a hell of a push to operate.
Other than that, noise levels are ok, comfort is great, even wearing glasses.
The pinlock system is a god send.

Nice helmet, I had to go up a size from my other helmet. Both of the visors offer good visibility and field of vision. It is real comfortable and I have worn it on a 3 hour ride recently without any discomfort. The flip up is smooth and offers great convenience. My only gripe is the visor is a little clunky on the way down, but a bit of lubricant seems to have solved that.
4 stars but only because of the clunky visor.

Recently purchased the caberg tourmax. When I checked, it was missing the small bag of screws to use if you take off the visor. A quick call & a replacement set arrived two days later, fantastic service & the helmet is as good as I hoped as well very pleased.

For the price this Helmet is great value.
The Enduro protector is removable, it fits well (head size) and chin strap isn't too short.
Black visor is really handy for day travel and protects from sun glare.
All in all a great product/ helmet and yes I'd buy again 10/10.

Good fit comfortable, I like it peak is so useful in low sun & I don't even have an adventure bike !! Little bit noisier than my shark but no biggy. Quality at this price point is remarkable.
Bit of a mix up at the tillnas black was not in store so arranged for home delivery but that didn't work so quick email & all was sorted & replacement arrived in good time plus a voucher as apology
.so I'm happy & as ever good service .

Lovely comfortable helmet with minimal wind noise. Had to go up a size compared to my other helmets. Only niggle I have is if the front is fully up you have to slide the catch to get it back down which can be a little fiddly in winter gloves but other than that it's a great helmet for the price

Great value helmet from Caberg. My fourth from this manufacturer and my second Tourmax, (did over 10,000 miles in my first one last year both tarmac and off-road). Neither the quietest nor the lightest but totally acceptable for long days in the saddle and you will pay more than twice as much for those luxuries. Loaded with quality important features like integrated tinted visor, full time flip up and this version comes with Pinlock included (bonus!) Pure vanity buying a second lid to match new ride!

First try at flip up lid - fairly good but noisy

This is the first flip up helmet I have purchased, and was specifically for the daily city commute to work on my electric scooter. The price and delivery were great from SBS. The fit is good and I find the helmet comfortable, the flip up mechanism is fairly easy to use, although the catch to lock it open is a bit fiddly. Vision is good, and I like the internal flip down sun visor, ventilation is ok, but not as good as my other lids. My biggest issue is wind noise from around 28mph upwards. As I use it on a silent electric scooter I was surprised at the amount of wind noise compared with my other lids, Overall fairly impressed for the price - good value for money.

This is my second Caberg helmet,the first was the Duke 2,the Tourmax is the same helmet but with a peak.
Both helmets are a great and comfortable true to size fit and are very easy use both flipping up the front just the visor or both at the same time,and comes at a very good price too with a top safety rating.
One point I would make,if you aren't sure if you need the peaked Tourmax version or the Duke peakless version,the peak on the Tourmax is removable making it into a Duke2.

I purchased my caberg tourmax marathon in a size medium I always wear medium in my helmets, and it is true to size what I can say about it is fantastic colour combination and the flip up mechanism is very smooth. Fits very well, it's quiet when I'm on the motorway. Fantastic quality finish. The colour is outstanding and most of all the price. I did look at other places, and they came nowhere near the price like SBS, I have been shopping at sportsbikeshop for few years now and never been disappointed with the purchases. I've made the peak is also very smooth when riding on the motorway. Well I can truly say the size is a true size you don't have to go up or down in any of the sizes very please with mine. So to the guys at sportsbikeshop as always the service the quality of your items, and your fantastic system which is second to none. If there is any returns which I have done a couple of times is very organised and runs very smoothly, so well done and thank you again keep well and keep safe regards djemal.

The Tourmax is the first adventure flip-up helmet on the market and comes with all the features you would expect from a manufacturer like Caberg. This helmet is modelled on the popular Caberg Duke helmet, but also has an adventure style peak which automatically moves closer to the visor when opening the chin bar to minimise wind resistance. As with the Duke, the Tourmax is dual homologated which means you can legally ride with the chin bar in the open position; this is because the chin bar is locked into the 'open' position, this can be released via the small lever on the left-hand side of the helmet. As with most of the Caberg helmet range, the Tourmax has an internal sun visor, anti-scratch Pinlock ready visor, fully removable interior, multipoint ventilation system and is Just Speak communication system ready.
