These jeans are stretchy but not baggy. I tried them in the shop and chose the smaller size of two that fitted which was a good choice when on the bike. The short leg option ensures that the fit was perfect for me rather than having the knee pads in the wrong place. Nice quality and I would buy again.

Nice, comfortable, lined and armoured where it counts.
Sizing is a little generous, so if you want a comfortable snug fit go for a waist size lower, leg length is pretty exact especially my stumpy lower limbs.
Armour on the hips and knees, which is located in internal velcro pockets, the only issue I had was the knee armour just didn't feel like it sat in the correct position due to the length of the internal velcro pockets, but with a few well placed stitches, I got them exactly where they needed to be, I don't feel like this is a fault with the jeans at all, just my short legs. Build quality is fantastic, a real sturdy and quality denim.
They held up to a full day of CBT in the wet weather, i wasnt wet at all, perfect for commut8ng and that urban look.
In all honestly I'm really impressed with these jeans.

These jeans are fantastic - I've tried the cheaper Kevlar jeans and found them shoddy and often not fully kevlar protectec so I've been buying the good but expensive Resurgence jeans but I'm switching to these from now on. The armour doesn't show so you can walk around without looking like you have hip & knee deformities but it is there and positioned perfectly for both walking and ridin. The fit is excellent and comfortable. Luckily I have not fallen off so I haven't tested the abrasion rating but all the research I can find says Covec is the equal of Kevlar plus there is less likelihood of contact dermatitis. They also wick sweat and are water resistant in light rain and they are less than £100. I'm getting another pair asap I literally cannot fault these jeans in any way

These jeans are superb, and a bargain and the price paid. The included knee and hip protection is a great feature.
However, they are very generous in sizing, so you should really consider going a size smaller. In normal jeans, I can barely squeeze into a 38inch waste. I was in two minds whether to buy 40mm h or 38inch waste, so I went 38 inch based on previous reviews. I had to return them for a 36 inch waste. There is a lot of stretch in the jeans, so a size smaller shouldn't cause issues.
The web chat team were superb. Really helpful when I wanted to return the jeans.

These are good jeans - comfortable and a decent shape. The legs are wide enough to fit over boots and they are high enough at the back to avoid drafts.

These jeans are good and sizing is generous so maybe go a size smaller.
They are comfy in summer and keep the wind out, I am using them during winter, and I am warm enough.
The hip and knee armour is a bonus and easily removable for when the jeans need a wash.

These jeans are lightweight, comfy, well protected and fit well. They are pleasant to wear, in hot weather, unlike the many, fully lined jeans I tried, elsewhere - and returned! - yet are still safety rated!
I wore them on a hot day's ride, recently and found them to be ideal - they breathe well and I did not boil up - as in other bike trousers.

Are these summer biking jeans or can they be worn all year? Am only asking as one comment implies they are summer wear...
