Good quality heavy chain with a removable cover that's held on with some hook and loop fasteners at each end. The lock itself is also good quality, it's got a plastic outer and the metal D bar has a rubberised cover. The key hole has a protective cover that slides over it to keep the weather out. Well made and good quality all around.

Should do the job

Very heavy and sturdy chain, long enough to chain bike to solid object as well. Also like it that you can use U lock as a disc lock too. Should deter thieves as will be using it with alarmed bike and disc lock.

- Shackle lock with hardened 14mm locking pin
- Square section 10mm hardened steel chain
- Galvanised to help protect against corrosion
- Protective textile sleeve fixed at both ends
- Abloy type lock making 20,000 possible combinations
- Supplied with two nickel keys with plastic heads
- The D-lock can be used as a disc lock on its own
- Length: 1.5 metres
