I followed the reviews and went up a size. I'm 34" waist 5'11" and went for XXL long as I use short boots. Fit is good. I had the first version of these pants and V3's have more adjustment at the waist. The legs are narrower though and with the lining removed and normal work trousers on underneath the fit is quite tight already. The vents are now to the front of the pants so better air flow if you need it, waterproofing is great as I expected from these. Only minor complaint is lack of reflective material anywhere. Always worth paying a little more for something quality that will last imo.

Perfect for commuting - I ride for 30mins on national roads and motorways, kept me dry in monsoon rain.
The sizing is well off, had to go 2 sizes up - only reason for 4 stars.

These are a quality item. Well made and good fit on slim legs with adjustment. Sizing is unusual. I'm a 32 waist and 30 leg - the Large Short size fit perfectly. Knee armour is not too bulky. Also bought the hip armour which is very good. They are warm - even without the thermal liner which is easily removed. Braces are comfortable.

Toasty dry troosers

Just back from a 3hr run about.
1st time these have been taken out, really comfy for a start, kept me dry even after I got soaked in the first half hr of the ride misjudging the depth of a big puddle, consistent rain for the rest of my time out and got home with dry legs. Very happy. Don't know how they'd fair in a full day's motorway riding in the rain, but happy so far. Rest of me not so dry though, time to do a bit of boot and jacket shopping.

Warm and well fitted overtrousers

Despite being a svelte 30 waist, I went for the 34. Fits perfectly over chinos or jeans. They are warm with the lining and have kept me dry and comfortable in minus temperatures for a 40 minute commute. I'll be removing the lining for spring

My Andes 1 trouser are much loved, but a little snug (shrunk in the wash I'm sure), so I ordered 2XL pair of the latest Andes 3. Too tight!! Ended up in a 4XL!! Great fit, very comfortable, but man alive, 4XL?? I'm 6'2" and the regular length is just right, with the armour in the right place! Good value!

Comfy, warm and waterproof

Love these trousers. I'm a 36" is great. Never owned textile gear before but since adding a Pan European to the fleet, wanted some gear that what keep me warm and dry in the early spring months. These do the job great, was warm in 7 degree C temps. I also bought the matching jacket to go with them-also brilliant! As always Sportsbikeshop offered these at a great price and second to none delivery speed. 5 stars from me!

Great fit, look well made as Alpinestars usually are, I like the features and versatility from leathers.
Sizing was right although leg seems a little long ( xxl regular ) but OK.

Don't think I have ever had from anywhere else, as good a service than from these guys. Free delivery, free returns, great customer service when you call. Next day delivery, and returns are dealt with and refunded super quick. On top of all this they were cheaper than I could find elsewhere. I've had the same product before and this newer version is even better, great quality at a great price.

Sizing was spot on for me, ordered a Medium/Short and the fit is excellent. The trousers seem to be good quality and are comfy while riding the bike.
SBS have been excellent as always, having ordered and returned several makes and sizes of riding gear until I found the right one for me.
