A bit disappointed I guess

It's a disc lock, that's about it. I can see a lot of 5 star ratings, but I'm going to be honest here.
You can break this lock within 20 seconds, without making any noise simply by using a bolt extractor and some force. It requires no skill whatsoever.
If the disk lock was more tight so there was no space for moving around on the disk or inserting bolts/screws, I'd rate this 4 or 5 as you can't beat the value.
But 20 seconds against a tool you can have in your back pocket? Come on Oxford, you can do better than this.

Works really well. Got one for each of my bikes. Make sure you get the bright yellow safety wire to hook around your brake lever as well.

Does what it says pretty much,
though it does flop quite a bit which does make it a bit of a pain when trying to get it off with thick gloves or when it rains, and the keys are quite small so they don't get in the way.

Oxford quality

Oxford go from strength to strength. This is yet another high quality low cost product. I bought this to replace a Mammoth disk lock that failed on second usage; it locked in my pocket and refused to unlock. Thank heavens it didn't happen on the disk! The Oxford was only another couple of quid but worth it for the peace of mind.

Bought as thief deterrents, wouldn't actually trust them to last being attacked with a hammer and some force.
Small and not cumbersome, can fit one in my pocket so easy enough to bring with me wherever I go. They come with 2 sets of keys and a handy webbing pouch.

Nice size, solid, value for money. Easy to stow when travelling. At the end of the day it's a deterrent, but one that is easy to see in bright yellow.

ok lock key a bit of a fiddle

A good lock but the second time I used it I got in a right state. When unlocking it you must return the key to the straight down the lock position if you do that its fine, you can put the key in when it is not correctly aligned, I spent a good ten minutes trying to open mine using two of the keys and it will not open I was desperate to get me and the bike home!

Most if not all of these types of product are nothing more than a deterrent. Hopefully this one is seen by would be crims, and they move on. It's bright yellow, and feels well made, let's just hope it's never put to the test!

Good strong disk detainer lock

This lock is well made, strong and bright enough to be easily seen and work as a deterrence.
The lock is a little bit finicky and takes a couple of goes to get the hang of it but you'll work it out and it's a disk lock meaning that it's hard to pick without specific disk lock tools.
It makes a good secondary lock and an out and about lock, if you're leaving your bike for a long time I suggest this in addition to something bigger and stronger.
