Lovely fit but NOT water proof

Great fitting boot, very comfortable on and off the bike. But not water proof. Just back from a 3 day tour, last day on way home we had rain and was very disappointed to find my socks were very wet when I removed the boot. Think maybe they are just shower proof not water proof

Got these to replace my old Agrius boots which had the soles break away from the both shoes in under a year. So far, I'm very impressed by these Richa boots. First they're very comfortable, like slipping your feet inside a couple seals. Being used to taller boots, I thought I'd struggle with waterproofing and warmth but after riding too work in the rain, waterproofing isn't a problem and they haven't really effected leg warmth like I thought they would.
I do have one issue, how the lacing is held down. I think a more solid loop would be better and allow the laces to be tightened more evenly and more easily. Otherwise the stitching feels solid, the waterproofing works, the soles and grippy and the more casual style leaves them very comfory to walk through town/shops then your bike is your primary mode of transport.
I personally think the lace loops could be improved which is why I give them 4 stars, but that wouldn't stop me recommending them wholeheartedly.

Now on my 3rd pair of these! I wear them every day for all sorts of activities from walking round the house to hill walking to dog walking and even international travel and rock festivals.
Really comfortable from the start and they last well. Perfect for runs on the bike less than 100 miles, any more than that I get the touring boots out! Highly recommended!! The only negative was when a friend asked "shouldn't there be an L on the left boot?" (look at the pics).

I searched for boots that were good for riding in, looked reasonably ok for wearing at work (college lecturer) and were comfortable enough to actually wear all day. These hit all three after a bit of careful wearing in. Leather was a little stiff to start with but after about 3 wears are fine. I do recommend them.

Superb Boots

These were super comfy straight out of the box, I am really pleased with them. I wear them with black jeans so they have a low profile look which I think suits my Bobber. The collar to retain the laces is a great feature but note that my boots came with the R in a satin black as opposed to white which to be honest I prefer. The boots have good grip, armour in the right places with gear change reinforced patches. They are good to wear on and off the bike. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a 'casual' short boot. Bought these as a second pair for touring, comfortable enough to wear out and good protection for riding. Very happy with these, the only gripe is that the laces are little on the long side.

'Old faithful boots'

Excellent boots, great quality and good fit. Having owned these boots before they are waterproof even in torrential rain and super comfy straight out of the box. My only criticism is the laces don't need to be so long. Fast service as always from SBS and excellent service as these are to replace a different manufacturer's boot which were faulty.

I bought these on the strength of other reviews and I am not disappointed I am a size nine shoe normally but I was going to order a size bigger as one review stated they ran on the small side but there was no stock of the bigger ones so went for the 9 fitted perfectly they are comfortable and they delivery was great and I am in Jersey channel islands I haven't used them in the rain yet but they seem well made will update when I have used then in the wet all in all very pleased with the product and the service from sportsbikeshop.co.uk

Very good boots, used in the rain and can vouch for their waterproofness. It's my first pair of boots, so not sure if others do the same, but they have faded on the inside side of the boots, presuming from the heat of the engine.

I was amazed at how comfortable these boots were on my first try on in the shop. I have looked at numerous pairs of boots all supposed to be easy to slip on and be relatively comfortable, but it certainly wasn't how I found them, most were extremley difficult to get on which I found neither use nor ornament. The Richer Slick boots fitted so easily and to my amazement were really comfortable, I can only assume as they wear in they will become even more so.
